The 6,800-ft. Gondola lift transports sightseers
in colorful cars to the summit of Wildcat Mt.
(4,100 ft.) for the East's most spectacular view.
Mt. Washington and Mt. Adams in the Presiden-
tial Range can be seen in the background. The
Gondola is the first one in America and operates
year 'round for sightseers in the summer and
fall, and skiers in winter.
