A splendid view of the Discoverer and Founder
of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, shown
in an oil painting by Jean Jacques Pfister spe-
cially painted for hanging in the Christian Sci-
ence Building at the New York World's Fair
and loaned through the courtesy of The Chris-
tian Science Board of Directors of The Mother
Church. It shows Mrs. Eddy as she addressed
a group of her students from the balcony of
her home in Concord, N. H., in 1903. Direct-
ly beneath can be seen the sales desk at
which all authorized Christian Science literature
is sold.
