Said, "Don't fail to go to our post
office which we think is very nice,
TROPICAL MODERN POST OFFICE, FORT MYERS BEACH, FLORIDA
Fort Myers Beach Post Office, the only one like it in Florida with outdoor
lobby, combination boxes, inner and outdoor flower planters, blond wood
counter and desk and over 2,000 feet of working floor space are features.
Dedicated May 18, 1957 by Executive Assistant Postmaster General Ralph T.
Wills, next in rank to Postmaster General Summerfield. Located a block
from the beach and in the Bigelow Shopping Center, the Post Office is a
meeting place for summer and winter visitors and year round residents at
the Beach.
