TODD COUNTY COURTHOUSE
Elkton, Kentucky
One of the oldest courthouses in use in the state of
Kentucky, it was built in Federal style in 1835 and
the clock tower was added in the 1880's. It stands
on a natural eminence in the center of a square and
contains records from 1819. Fine tear-drop dentils,
above the south entrance and over the Judge's bench,
are noteworthy.
