THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
Clemson College, Clemson, S.C.
This building is named in honor of South Carolina's
famed Governor "Pitchfork" Ben Tillman, and its
famed clock tower is a landmark on Clemson Col-
lege. The building was completed in 1893, four
years after the Thomas G. Clemson bequest
establishing the college was accepted by the
General Assembly.
