Fabulous Lake George
Placed in the exquisite Adirondack Mt. setting of
N. Y., Lake George is famous for its waters of
drinking purity and dotted by islands said to equal
the days of the year. Called "An-di-a-ta-roc te" by
the Iroquois Indians and "Le Lac du Saint Sacre-
ment" by the French, it was named "Lake George"
by Sir William Johnson, in honor of the English
King, George II.
