US 27, 98, the Conference Center of the Flori-
da Congregational Churches, is located on
beautiful Lake Byrd. The unique Lodge,
built around a huge chimney with three fire-
places, is really a "covered patio," comforta-
bly accommodating over 100 people. Here the
Churches hold gatherings of many kinds
throughout the year. The Conference Sup-
erintendents have offices at the Center and
resident managers serve as host and hostess.
