The new $5,000,000 Post Office occupies the en-
tire block, Post Office Square, Devonshire,
Water and Milk Streets. It maintains 91 sub-
stations and employs over 5,000 people. The
Boston Postal District serves 25 cities and towns
and is the country's largest.
