Additional Details:
During the Gold excitement in the early days in the Boise basin, Mc Call was a feeding station on the old "Packer John" trail over which all the supplies were packed to thousands of miners and prospectors. This trail was several hundred miles long and was the scene of many thrilling skirmishes between the whites and the Indians.
