BACK BAY
When Boston was first settled, this area literally
was a bay, marshland that was filled in during the
1800's as the city's growth demanded new areas
of expansion. Today it is graced by the inposing
Prudential Tower with a restaurant and Skywalk
from which all of the city may be seen as in
miniature below. Also in the Back Bay, elegant
Newbury Street is lined with fashionable shops,
art galleries, and coffee shops, the perfect place
for an afternoon's browsing.
