Immaculate Conception Church

IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH 115 NORTH CUSHMAN STREET FAIRBANKS, ALASKA 99701 Built in 1904 on the South side of the Chena River, Our Immaculate Concep- tion Church was moved to its present location on the North side of the river in 1911. In the spring of 1912 the Parish Hall was completed and a two-story residence for the fathers was added. On April 3, 1976, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Sites. On the reverse, the summer photo on the right side pictures the church as it was in 1976. The winter photo on the left pictures the church as it was in 1989.
