Additional Details:
Zearing is the home of the Tri-County State Bank, founded in 1943. Zearing is also the home of Dick Sparrow's Schlitz 40-Horse Hitch. Forty matched Belgian draft horses, averaging one ton each are harnessed four abreast, ten deep, and hitched to the Columbia Bandwagon #62, built in 1897 for Barnum & Bailey Circus. Ten outriders keep the crowds in control. This team was shown in Milwaukee, July 4, 1972. This is the first time since 1904 that a 40-horse hitch has been on parade.

It is a Zearing, IA post card for sure. I grew up there and knew Dick and his family. The image on the card is not Zearing. Fun postcard!
