AMTRAK TURBOLINER
The beautiful Hudson River Valley on a crisp fall morning is the setting for one of
Amtrak's new Turboliners as it wisks southward to New York City. Seven of these
five car trainsets started service in Buffalo-New York "Empire Service" during the
last half of 1976. Built by the Rohr Corporation, one of the Turboliners, the
“Washington Irving", is seen during a morning run through Germantown, NY on
November 2, 1976.
