FLAGSTAFF is the home of the Northern
Arizona State Teacher's College, an all year
institution with four year courses for training
ż teachers in all grades from kindergarten to
twelfth inclusive. Flagstaff is near the Grand
Canyon, the Petrified Forest and the Hopi
and Navajo Reservations, it is surrounded by
forests, lakes, mountains, extinct volcanoes
and prehistoric Indian ruins. At an altitude
of 6900 feet the Summers are cool, creating
an ideal condition for study during the ten
weeks Summer Session.
