KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Taken a few hundred feet above the picturesque Missouri farm-
land which surrounds the airport, this air view looks north toward
the terminal complex at Kansas City International Airport. The
three terminal buildings shown represent the first step in long-
range planning which calls for the addition of a fourth module
in the late 1970's. The present buildings, with more than a million
square feet of floor space, have a capacity for accommodating
some 10 to 12 million total passengers annually. The 10,800
ft. N/S main runway is shown at upper left. A portion of the
9,500 ft. E/W crosswind runway appears in the foreground.
