Weekly recruit graduation reviews are colorful and impressive.
Color guard is shown here. During fair weather, the reviews
take place on parade grounds instead of in Drill Hall 1200 as
seen here. USNTC is located on Lake Michigan, 35 miles north
of downtown Chicago and four miles from Waukegan. It is the
oldest and largest facility of its kind in the U.S. Its essential
role is recruit training of inductees, and the operation of service
schools for student Navy personnel.
