Tomanek Hall, named for a former FHSU president, is a
state-of-the-art science facility. Sheridan Hall houses
the Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center and
administrative offices. Albertson Hall features an old
observatory with one of the state's largest refracting
telescopes. FHSU, founded in 1902, is a four-year
liberal and applied arts university.
