SALMON, IDAHO
This aerial view shows Main Street running east through
the City of Salmon with the Salmon River in the fore-
ground. Salmon is situated at an elevation of 4000
feet, nestled in the valley between the Continental
Divide and the Idaho Primitive Area. This typical
western town of 3000 people is famous for its boat
trips and its informal hospitality.
