At FORT WILLIAM HENRY, Lake George, N. Y., Skeletons of
Victims of French and Indian Attacks recently unearthed
in the Military Cemetery are covered by this enclosure.
Following the Second Attack and capitulation of the Fort
to Montcalm in 1757, the Huron Indian allies of the French
committed one of the worst massacres in American History.
