Like a lovely jewel in a tropical setting, the
unique 165 ton observatory at Homosassa Springs
floats in the center of the famous giant fish-bowl
spring. Visitors "go below" to view thousands
of fresh and salt-water fish, mysteriously at-
tracted to the great spring, from which flows
six million gallons of water every hour. Homosas-
sa Springs is on U.S. 19 & 98, 75 miles north of
St. Petersburg, Florida.
