THE BUDDHA'S SHRINE PALACE
The First Chinese Buddhist Temple of Hawaii, was found-
ed in 1953. The cornerstone for the erection of the
Buddha's Shrine Palace was laid on October 24, 1964,
and formally dedicated in January, 1967. This grand
and ornate structure is a replica of old, Chinese Im-
perial Palaces.
