THE QUEEN'S BEDROOM. The hangings of
(FOR ADDRESS ONLY.)
this right royal apartment in the Queen's Dolls'
House are of silk damask, the carpet is woven, and
the ceiling is delightfully painted by Glyn Philpot,
R.A. The lofty looking room is 20 inches high.
Above the jade and white marble mantelpiece is a
portrait of the Duchess of Teck, Her Majesty's
mother, by Frank O. Salisbury, and on the wall
is a painting of Mary Queen of Scots by Gerald
Kelly, A.R.A. Over the door to the Bathroom is
a barometer, and on the mantelpiece is a clock
which shows the correct time.
