MEETING OF THE OCEANS—Cape Reinga
The Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean meet at
Cape Reinga, Northland. Beyond the tide rip is the
group of islands known as the Three Kings, 35
miles to the north-west. The buildings are the
keeper's houses of the Cape Reinga Lighthouse.
