Glen Finglas is a picturesque valley through the
centre of which runs the Finglas water. Besides its
great pictorial merits, it is interesting as being the scene
of Sir Walter Scott's ballad of Glen Finglas. *Of that
huge cliff whose ample verge tradit on calls the Heroes
Targe." This interesting spot is shown in the picture.
