Loch Katrine. Situate at the western end of the
Trossachs is Lake Katrine, overshadowed by wild
mountains and hills. The scenery at the upper end of
the lake is very fine. Here is found Ellen's Isle, rendered
famous by the poem of Sir Walter Scott.
