Loch Achray. This view of the Trossachs is one
of the most beautiful and romantic spots in this inter-
esting district and has been rendered famous as being the
locale of Sir Walter Scott's “Lady of the Lake". Loch
Achray is one of the most charming little lakes in Scot-
land, its western shore being sheltered by the rugged
and precipitous peak of Ben Venue (2393 feet high).
