RECIPE FOR
EXPOSITION SCONES
2/2 cups Fisher's Blend Flour. Sift and
measure flour.
2 teaspoons double-acting Baking
Powder. Resift with other dry in-
gredients.
2 tablespoons Sugar.
teaspoon Salt.
6 tablespoons Shortening. Cut into
dry ingredients.
1/2 cup Raisins. Add to flour-fat mix-
ture. Mix thoroughly.
3/4 cup Milk. Add to mixture, mixing
quickly with fork.
Turn out on lightly floured board.
Knead 10 to 12 strokes. Divide into two
pieces. Mold each into ball. Flatten each
piece with palm of hand. Roll to 2-inch
thickness in circular shape. Cut into
wedge-shaped pieces. Place on greased
baking sheet. Bake at 450° F. 12 to 15
minutes. Split open, do not cut. Serve
with butter and jam.
