deposits. Situated in the heart of the Miracle
Mile Wilshire district of Los Angeles. Lakes of
tar, similar to those that trapped hundreds of
Ice Age animals, may be seen in the park.
Bones of the prehistoric animals are on view in
the "Observation Pit."
