Built originally in 1706. First known as the Casa
De Armijo, the home of a prominent early day
family. Later it served as a fort and refuge during
the Mexican, Spanish and American Civil War, and
as an early trading post.
Restored to its original
refinished again in 1955, it is now the home of
the original La Placita Dining Rooms.
