LEWIS COUNTY COTTAGE

State 4-H Camp
This was the first cottage to be completed at
Jackson's Mill and was made of everlasting cypress
to represent the "hang-on" spirit that successful
4-H'ers need. Though actually completed in Novem-
ber, 1922, the cottage was not dedicated until July
27, 1923. Contributions were received from many
organizations and adults as well as from 4-H mem-
bers who donated both money and labor.
