Built in 1853 by the crew of the "Julius Pringle" as a trad-
ing center. The residents of Port Gamble used the General
Store for trading with the Indians at Little Boston, located
directly across the quay from Port Gamble. The store was
restored by Pope & Talbot in 1972.
