The J. S & S. Series 3000 the Ryan monoplane (200 h.p. Wright "whirlwind" engine) was used by Colonel Charles Lindbergh on his non-stop flight from New York to Paris on May 20-21, 1927. He covered the distance of 3,600 miles in 33 1/2 hours. |
