Built in 1986, the TEXAS MOTORPLEX presents amateur
and professional drag racing. It seats 29,000 + spectators,
features the latest electronic timers and scoreboards, and
a world record-setting concrete racing surface. The tower
building has 24 air-conditioned suites, each with color T.V.
Pictured is the third largest crowd in the history of drag
racing at the Inaugural Chief Auto Parts Nationals.
