THE SEA WALL is nearly one raile long and four feet
wide, and extends from the Old Spanish Fort to the Government
Barracks. It is built of coquina, upon the top of which rest
large slabs of granite, affording a delightful promenade, especially
on a moonlight evening the stillness being broken by the
continual roar of the ocean surf greatly adds to the romantic
environments.
