St. Augustine, Florida
The cornerstone of this, Florida's first Episcopal Church, was laid
in 1825.
Alterations and additions have been made through the years but the
quaint little north porch with its fern-grown shingle roof, the tower, the
north transept walls, and the baptistry, have weathered the years.
It is Gothic in architecture, and, with the traceries of the old sycamore
tree at its door caught in light and shadow on its mossy walls, it is truly
picturesque and might well fit into any English village setting.
