| The First Christian Church was organized in 1900 in a small room over the south-eastern corner of Franklin and Lafayette. In 1913 the Tabernacle was built where where the union Bus Station now stands. Thepresent edifice was erected in 1926 to meet the needs of a growing membership in a beautiful industrial city |
