The Memorial Chapel at Culver Military
Academy, Culver, Indiana was built to honor
the 6,500 alumni who served in World War
II, names of 288 of whom are permanently
enshrined on the Gold Star columns in the
narthex. Funds for building and furnishing
chapel were subscribed by alumni,
patrons, and friends from every state in the
Union and a dozen foreign countries.
