NORTH CAROLINA.
Pinebluff, North Carolina, situated midway between the yigorous cold of the North and the debilitating heat and
humidity of the South, has an unsurpassed climate. Mild winters, dry and bright with sunshine make out door life a
pleasure. A soil giving perfect drainage and responding readily to cultivation. A water system and many springs of
purest water. It is located on the Seaboard Air Line R. R., seven miles from Pinehurst. Has through Pullman service
from New York, Boston and all large cities. Round trip tickets good for six months, with stop-over privileges. Only 18
hours by rail from New York. An ideal resort for rest and recuperation. Fine water power for manufacturing purpose
and cheap land for fruit growing. The air is the dryest east of the Mississippi river. The winters mild and the occasional
frosts give it a tonic influence more suitable for people from a cold climate than the enervating frostless zone. Its winters
allow even invalids to live an out-door life without the fear of "taking cold." A stay in Pinebluff has been particularly
curative of lung and kidney disease, asthma, catarrh, neurasthenia, etc. The town is well supplied with boarding houses
and cottages may be rented ready furnished at a moderate price. Those needing a quiet, restful, healthful and economi-
cal place in which to spend their winter should turn their attention to Pinebluff. For information address the Mayor or
City Clerk.
