Palmdale is located on Highway 6 at the southern end of
Antelope Valley. The area has been known for its fruit and
alfalfa that is shipped all over the world. Soon after World
War || aircraft manufacturers moved to the air fields nearby.
Today Palmdale is known as the Jet Center of the world. The
downtown area has grown with new modern stores and trade
centers. The desert area has given plenty of room for new homes
to house the thousands of aircraft workers that have moved into
