The Lexington School is in its second century of
pioneering in oral education for children who were
born deaf. In this modern new complex, completed in
1968, the School is expanding its education program
(birth to 21 years of age), its research program, and its
teacher preparation program (affiliated with Columbia
University) to prepare teachers and administrators for
schools for the deaf.
