First Presbyterian Church,
Wilmington, North Carolina
Back:
The Nave and Chancel patterned after Scottish
abbeys of the medieval Gothic era, the Chapel in
simple Norman architecture with its imported win-
dows and interior hand-made Holland brick, the
educational building and gymnasium in the more
informal Gothic of a later period, combine to form
one of the handsomest Churches in the South.
Woodrow Wilson was a member in his youth. The
Church was founded before 1760.
