First Methodist Church is located at the
intersection of West Tuscarawas St. and
Cleveland Ave. Constructed in 1883 it is Can-
ton's oldest and largest Methodist Church.
William McKinley, Twenty fifth President of
the United States, was an official member and
Sunday School Superintendent of this historic
Church. The Church is known throughout the
area for its magnificent Calvin E. Ball Memo-
rial Organ.
