RIVERHEAD, LONG ISLAND
Located on beautiful Long Island, just seventy-
five miles from New York City, Riverhead,
settled in 1690, is the county seat of Suffolk
County. It takes its name from its situation at
the head of the Peconic River.
Fresh water lakes and the shores of Peconic
Bay and Long Island Sound make it an ideal
place for the fishing, boating, swimming, and
duck hunting enthusiasts.
