Transportation
Block Island may be reached daily during the summer season
by the boats-Mount Hope, New Shoreham, and the May
Archer from Providence and Newport, R. I.; The Nelseco
sails daily from New London, Conn.
Points of Interest
The Cliff Walk along the east shore past Pebbly Beach to
the South Light, which is one of the famous Lights of the
New England coast. The Cliffs range in height from small
sand dunes to the height of 140 feet.
The Marine views are superb.
The North Light and Clay Head at the north end of the
Island.
The Coast Guard Stations.
The Great Bathing Beach.
