In 1895, Milwaukee-Downer College was formed
by the union of Milwaukee College founded in
1851, and Downer College, Fox Lake, Wis.,
chartered in 1855. It comprises eleven build-
ings, campus about fifty acres: gives regular
four year College courses, also special courses
in Art, Home Economics, Music, and Occupa-
tional Therapy.
