Phil and Steve Mahre
Two fast reasons why Lange supports the U.S. Ski Team.
Twins Phil and Steve Mahre of White Pass, Wash., were
among the best SL and GS skiers of 1976. Phil was the top
male U.S. team member in World Cup competition, taking 2
second places at Copper Mountain and Aspen, Colo., while
Steve scored a second place in the Copper Mountain World
Cup slalom. Lange is the only American boot ever used by
the U.S. Ski Team.
