MEMORIAL BRIDGE
This $11,000,000.00 East St. Louis Veterans' Memo-
rial Bridge is the eighth bridge to be constructed in
the St. Louis area spanning the Mississippi River
connecting East St. Louis, Illinois and St. Louis, Mo.
It is the sixth longest cantilever structure in the
U. S. A. The bridge has a 960 foot center span
supported by two 470 foot anchor sections.
