Across the Rio Grande from Brownsville,
Texas, the first glimpse of Old Mexico is seen.
It seems so strange to the average tourist to see
the Ancient Mule Cars. Water Carts etc., but
nevertheless it is great sport to ride on these
old time mule cars.
The mule car line in Matamoros, Mexino,
was built in 1872 and has been in operation ever
since. On Bull Fight and Fiesta days it is
crowded to its full capacity and does as much
business as a modern car line could do.
