Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation's DANS-
KAMMER POINT ELECTRIC GENERATING STATION,
located on the west bank of the Hudson River six miles
north of Newburgh, N. Y., was built at a cost of
$25,000,000 to serve the Mid-Hudson Valley. Burning
over 1,000 tons of coal daily, the station is capable of
producing enough electricity to light one million four
hundred thousand 100-watt lamp bulbs at one time.
Went here with Dad
