STREET SCENE OF A PROSPEROUS CITY
This is a street scene of Del Rio, Texas. The
raising of cattle, sheep and goats provides the
livelyhood for many of Del Rio's citizens.
There is also some industry there. Fishing and
hunting are among the major sporting activities
in Del Rio. Across the Rio Grande from Del
Rio is Cd. Acuna, Mexico and twelve miles
upstream is the famous Amistad Dam which
was completed in 1969. Needless to say Del Rio
attracts many tourists all year.
